Effective 25 May 2018, the processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (either “Regulation” or “GDPR”) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on protection of personal data and amendment of certain acts (“Personal Data Protection Act”). Because the protection of personal data is very important for NAFTA a.s. (“NAFTA a.s.” or “Company”), all personal data will be processed in compliance with requirements of this legislation, with particularly special emphasis placed on security and protection of it.
